As we hear, an additional session of the Sejm may be held in the coming days. One of the proposed dates is Friday, if the Sejm's Presidium convenes tomorrow. It is not known what the parliamentarians would deal with – it is possible that it concerns a bill on salaries at the National Bank of Poland or compensation for public media.

UPDATE: According to the latest information, the Sejm session would take place next week on Wednesday, January 30th. This – as our sources say – is the most probable date for now, but nothing is certain until the Presidium meeting.

In that case, plans are changing, because earlier in the day Marshal Terlecki indicated that there would likely be no additional session, unless the Senate introduces amendments to the budget.

- Whether there will be an earlier [session] depends on whether there will be amendments to the budget in the Senate, but we expect that there will likely be no such amendments – said the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm.
