Duda:
The First Lady should be insured regarding retirement. However, my wife does not expect a salary and has told me so many times
- I look at this primarily, because that is my point of view, from my wife's perspective. I will say this: one thing certainly should not happen, namely that by default the Polish state does not provide retirement insurance for the First Lady. From my taxed presidential salary, of which I receive about 13.5 thousand PLN net per month, I pay over 1100 PLN per month to ZUS for my wife. This is because I want her to have continuity of insurance, as she had to interrupt her work at the school, which she had been doing for 17 years prior. This is something that should not happen. Therefore, I believe that, first and foremost, the First Lady should be insured regarding retirement matters. This is a fundamental issue. As for salary - I can say this: my wife does not expect a salary, and she has told me this many times - stated President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Marcin Makowski on WP, when asked about the initiative for a First Lady's salary.
- I appeal to the parliamentarians: if they consider any projects on this matter at all, they should really show absolute great moderation here - added PAD. He noted that if retirement insurance were to be established for the First Lady, it should also be retroactive, meaning it should have been paid to all First Ladies.
