- We are talking. We know each other, we like each other. The situation is surprising, even shocking for all opposition parliamentarians, so we are considering various options. One must remember that I am the vice-chairman of the joint PSL-UED club and I cannot make any decisions solely on my own behalf. I need to have this discussed with my colleagues from UED, and any decisions would also have to be agreed upon with the PSL authorities - stated Jacek Protasiewicz in an interview with Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz for Wyborcza.pl.
- It would be a shame for one of the opposition clubs to disappear. This weakens the strength of the parliamentary opposition in terms of verbal exchanges, debates, and material resources. Political parties, especially new, small ones, do not have a large backing, so when they can use premises, have some additional staff positions, it is beneficial for the opposition. If this is lacking, then organizational strength is weaker - he added. As he admitted, the downside is that loaning MPs might not be understood by voters.
