A draft amendment to the law restricting trade on Sundays and holidays, as well as on certain other days, has been submitted to the Sejm by PiS. The proponent of the motion is Janusz Śniadek. The project has been sent for review by the Legislative Bureau (BL) and the Bureau of Analysis and Study (BAS), but it is not yet available. It likely aims, in short, to tighten the system, as previously announced by the Ministry of Labour.

UPDATE: A description of the project has appeared on the Sejm's website: It concerns the detailing and clarification of the provisions of the law on restricting trade on Sundays and holidays, and on certain other days, including, among other things, the clarification of exceptions from the trade ban and the performance of work in trade, as well as the performance of activities related to trade.
