Brudziński on the Centennial of Independence Celebrations: Exceptional in the Nation's and State's History, Held in a Peaceful Atmosphere

I would like to inform all Poles that the celebrations, which were exceptional in the history of our nation and state, and in the lives of our generation, namely the hundredth anniversary of Poland regaining its independence, proceeded in an atmosphere of joyful celebration and were safe. As is always the case on such occasions, there were also incidents that should not have happened. Events that qualify for criminal proceedings and misdemeanors” - said Minister Joachim Brudziński at a press conference.

I would like to very warmly, through the hands of the generals, representatives of the Police, Border Guard, State Fire Service, Government Protection Service, and through the hands of Minister Mariusz Kamiński, express gratitude for the cooperation of the services subordinate to the coordinator for special services, ABW, and the Intelligence Agency, gratitude for this cooperation. It is evident that these celebrations would not have had such a peaceful and safe character if not for the cooperation of all services” - he added.
