Sejm to Elect New Children's Ombudsman in Two Weeks; Gawłowski Case Also on Agenda
At the next Sejm session, in two weeks, MPs will elect the Children's Ombudsman – according to a preliminary schedule seen by 300POLITYKA. The procedure for his election began a few days ago, and candidates can be nominated until November 15th. The election will take place on Friday, November 23rd, during the morning session between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
On the same day, the Sejm will also vote on a motion to grant consent for the criminal prosecution and the application of a preventive measure in the form of temporary detention for Stanisław Gawłowski. The previous evening, MPs will hear the report of the rules committee.
