In defense of European values, Poland repelled the Soviet onslaught in 1920, and then stood to fight against Nazi Germany. Having been a victim of two criminal systems, no one understands the immense value of individual freedom and being a member of a democratic community of nations better than Poland.
Today, as an active member state of the European Union, we are demonstrating that we are one of the most pro-European nations. Poland's future will always be Europe. The European project is also a Polish project, and it is in Poland's national interest for the European Union to be a success story. Therefore, strengthening the European Union is and will remain the absolute foundation of Polish foreign policy.
