- Yesterday, of course, the procedural mode for [amendments to the IPN Act] was quite fast, but the Sejm's rules allow for fast-tracking government bills that have an urgent character. Please note that this was a short amendment. It wasn't dozens of pages of legislation that couldn't be familiarized with, requiring numerous analyses or expert opinions. It was brief and its content was quite straightforward. I understand that the government was keen on passing it urgently. The government submitted such a request to the [Sejm] Marshal, and everything proceeded in accordance with the [Sejm's] rules - said Krzysztof Łapiński in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Polityczne Graffiti".
