"I am currently a councilor of the Masovian Voivodeship Assembly and I feel I am a very engaged councilor, although it is a bit unfair that what councilors do is not visible, and they really do a lot. I decided to run for the Voivodeship Assembly. And if I were to run for the Voivodeship Assembly, it would preclude me from running for the President of Warsaw. I have a couple of great ideas for this assembly and I wanted to implement them in the next term" – Katarzyna Piekarska from SLD said in the morning program of Radio TOK FM. "He will be a very worthy candidate, and perhaps this is not a great surprise. Yesterday, the Warsaw Council gave a positive opinion, and the candidate himself was present. It is Andrzej Celiński. He is a figure who has been present in politics for a very long time, a person of unusual honesty and diligence. I think he will be a good candidate, and I believe he will truly stir things up in these elections and reach the second round. And if he reaches the second round, I think he will win these elections" she added.
