Jaki: I See Warsaw, Our Capital City, as a Place of Freedom and Unity

I would like to say that this is how I see Warsaw: a friendly Warsaw, close to people, a Warsaw where there will always be room for discussion about serious problems, about the development vision of our shared city. Two matters to convey today. Firstly: I see Warsaw, the capital, our city, as a place of freedom. Warsaw, the city of freedom. Why freedom? These beautiful boulevards, where we are today, I promise – if we win these elections or as I am instructed – when we win these elections – we will expand these boulevards. Why did I mention freedom? Freedom because there will be no prohibitions here. It will be absolutely natural that this place will even be a symbol of freedom. Additionally, there is a second element that I would like to mention today: Warsaw as a place that unites everyone. Warsaw, a place for everyone. It doesn’t matter where you come from, where you were born. Warsaw, the capital of our country, is a place where anyone can get off the train, out of the car, and if they want to work hard for this city, they can become a Warsaw resident” - said Patryk Jaki, the United Right's candidate for the Mayor of Warsaw, during a rally.
