"Nowoczesna is already without Ryszard Petru in its name. If Ryszard Petru departs, it will certainly not be a good signal for Nowoczesna itself, as it will lose its founder, but there are various twists of fate, various choices. I would have preferred Ryszard Petru to cooperate within the framework we proposed, because in politics, it's the team, the squad, and cooperation that count. If someone, unfortunately, places their own ambitions above all else, they end badly in politics. If [Ryszard Petru] leaves Nowoczesna, it will be his decision. There was a democratic choice there. One can like democracy or not, but democracy has the characteristic that the majority decides. The majority of Nowoczesna members decided that Katarzyna Lubnauer should be the leader. I value Ryszard Petru, but if someone loses an election, they should roll up their sleeves and work together with the new leader.
