Sejm Adopts Draft Law to Reduce Parliamentarians' Salaries by 20% During the evening voting session, MPs adopted a draft amendment to the act on the performance of the mandate of a Member of Parliament and Senator, which stipulates a 20% reduction in parliamentarians' salaries. The amendment will now be considered by the Senate – this is expected to happen quickly, either tomorrow or next week. 247 MPs participated in the vote, indicating that opposition MPs attempted to break the quorum. The draft was supported by 226 MPs from the PiS (Law and Justice) club; 11 did not participate in this vote.
