The chamber's authorities have decided that all items will be addressed today, and the session will be shortened. A last-minute meeting of the rules committee was convened to consider the bill on reducing parliamentarians' salaries, but it lacked a quorum. The second block of votes for today is scheduled for 9 PM. — MAJCHROWSKI TO SEEK RE-ELECTION. "The moment the Prime Minister announces the decision on the election date and the start of the election campaign, I will announce my candidacy" - stated the Mayor of Krakow at a press conference. Jacek Majchrowski also informed that he commissioned a poll, which shows he enjoys nearly 50 percent support. — ŻALEK APOLOGIZES TO PROTESTERS. PARENTS ARE FILING A LAWSUIT. KUKIZ’15 REFERRED THE MATTER TO THE ETHICS COMMITTEE. "I just wanted to convey my apologies for words that, I assume, may have been hurtful if they were understood out of context, as I myself have painful experiences" - said Jacek Żalek. The protesters accepted the apology and flowers, but they will not withdraw the lawsuit. Thursday marks the 23rd day of the protest. — THE PRESIDENT OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC IS ON A VISIT TO WARSAW. After meeting with Miloš Zeman, President Andrzej Duda stated: "The truth is that, looking at our economic relations for instance, indeed – after Germany – the Czech Republic is the second largest destination for Polish exports. Our mutual trade turnover in 2017 exceeded 20 billion euros for the first time, and this extremely intensive economic exchange between our countries is a fact, and I hope it will grow in the coming years, that it will be cooperation not only in the automotive industry but also in the defense and military industry, which we just discussed in this bilateral meeting format".
