This ruling questioned, among other things, the position of neo-judges in the Supreme Court. And the prime minister's decision legitimized them. And how can we demand now? Try? How can we work on restoring the rule of law step by step? Shouting, threatening with the prosecutor's office and 'getting them in their socks,' publicizing personnel changes in courts and the prosecution – restoring the rule of law cannot be reduced only to such actions." -- I HAVE THE IMPRESSION THAT THE STIRRING UP OF THESE EXPECTATIONS FOR ACCOUNTABILITY HAS BECOME AN ELEMENT OF CONSCIOUS PROPAGANDA FOR US – AS INFOTAINMENT. HERE LIES A HUGE TRAP - PROF. ŁĘTOWSKA CONTINUES IN NEWSWEEK: "This danger constantly looms over us: that people will get tired and disgusted with the lack of agency and waiting for the fulfillment of political promises. Moreover, I have the impression that stirring up these expectations for accountability has become an element of conscious propaganda for us – as infotainment. Herein lies a huge trap for those in power who use such a propaganda strategy." -- THE CONSTITUTIONAL TRIBUNAL PRACTICALLY DOESN'T EXIST. IT HAS LOST ITS AUTHORITY. SIMILARLY, TWO CHAMBERS OF THE SUPREME COURT - PROF. ŁĘTOWSKA CONTINUES WITH SADURSKI: "Well, the Constitutional Tribunal practically doesn't exist. It has lost its authority. Similarly, two chambers of the Supreme Court. Their degradation took a long time; and for an equally long time, step by step, through a series of rulings, their legitimacy and composition have been questioned in the ECJ and ECHR. But the conclusion of this process must be crowned by the formation and stabilization of internal practice within the Supreme Court and other state bodies. Currently, it is unstable. I will again only recall the recent confusion with the Prime Minister's countersignature, which delays this moment." -- THE MINISTER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SUPREME COURT. MORE POSSIBILITIES LIE IN THE INTERNAL ACTIONS OF THIS COURT - PROF. ŁĘTOWSKA CONTINUES IN NEWSWEEK: "The minister has nothing to do with the Supreme Court. More possibilities lie in the internal actions of this court; we must wait and see what its judges will do, they must sort it out themselves.
