But these should be thought-out and transparent actions, so as not to give reason to accuse them of adopting methods from their predecessors, but rather of applying them in reverse.” -- I HAVE REVIEWED THE LAW ON THE TRIBUNAL OF STATE TO ASSESS THE INITIAL MOTION IN THIS MATTER. AND IN MY OPINION, THERE ARE AT LEAST TWO CHARGES THERE THAT SOUND SERIOUS - LESZEK BALCEROWICZ IN CONVERSATION WITH KRZYSZTOF ADAM KOWALCZYK IN RZ: “I have reviewed the Law on the Tribunal of State to assess the initial motion in this matter. And in my opinion, there are at least two charges there that sound serious. The first is the financing of the budget deficit by the NBP, which is clearly prohibited by the constitution. This would set a precedent leading to easy charges before the tribunal, risky from the perspective of the central bank's independence.” -- THERE ARE CERTAIN AREAS IN THE GOVERNMENT THAT REQUIRE INDEPENDENT PEOPLE, FOR WHOM REPUTATION MATTERS, AND OBEDIENCE TO THE PRIME MINISTER IS NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING - BALCEROWICZ CONTINUES AT KOWALCZYK: “Questions must be asked – primarily to Donald Tusk, as the main economic decision-maker – where are the lack of positive proposals for economic development? But ministers must also be asked. There are certain areas in the government that require independent people, for whom reputation matters, and obedience to the Prime Minister is not the most important thing. These are the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of State Assets. If someone feels like a subordinate there, has no sense of responsibility for very important areas, they are simply not suitable. For now, I mark this with a question mark.” -- THINGS ARE WORST WHEN IT COMES TO REBUILDING THE COMMUNITY OF POLES. IN MY OPINION, WE ARE AS DIVIDED AS WE WERE BEFORE THE PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS - ALEKSANDER HALL IN RZ: “Things are worst when it comes to rebuilding the community of Poles. In my opinion, we are as divided as we were before the parliamentary elections. Perhaps even more so, as new divisions have been added to the old ones. Even after losing power, this grouping is not interested in mitigating divisions. The actions of New Left and a significant part of KO politicians also do not contribute to rebuilding the community of Poles. Donald Tusk, in the campaign before last year's elections, announced that after winning the election, he would not limit himself to settling accounts with the PiS government, but would lead to the reconciliation of Poles. However, it seems that this reconciliation is to be on the terms of the election winners, and thus doomed to failure from the outset.” -- DIVERSITY MUST BE RECOGNIZED AND RESPECTED. THIS IS THE PRELIMINARY AND MOST IMPORTANT CONDITION FOR THE ARDUOUS REBUILDING OF OUR SENSE OF COMMUNITY - HALL CONTINUES IN RZ: “Poles today are much more diverse in terms of worldview and ideology than they were almost 20 years ago, when we plunged into mourning after the death of John Paul II. This diversity must be recognized and respected. This is the preliminary and most important condition for the arduous rebuilding of our sense of community. The greatest responsibility for carrying out this task lies with those who hold power in the state. Therefore, it currently lies to the greatest extent with the coalition of October 15, and especially with the head of the coalition government.
