- The PiS leadership today adopted a rather significant resolution. […] The resolution concerns the prohibition of activity and participation of PiS party members in associations, foundations, and other organizations of a political nature. In order to maintain the ideological, organizational, and political unity of our organization, the leadership has decided to take these specific steps - said Rafał Bochenek at a press briefing following the meeting of the PiS Political Committee Presidium.

The PiS spokesperson quoted and elaborated on the provisions of the resolution:

"PiS members, regardless of their positions, are obliged to refrain absolutely from belonging to any associations, foundations, non-governmental organizations, or other legal entities whose statutory or de facto aim is to conduct political activity."

"PiS members should also not participate in the work, meetings, events, or projects carried out by such organizations, unless these are organizations acting with the consent of the party authorities."

"PiS members who belong to such organizations should immediately cease their activities in these organizations and resign from them within seven days."

Resolution Directly Names Morawiecki's and Sasin's Associations

- Regarding organizations such as 'Stowarzyszenie Rozwój Plus' or 'Po Pierwsze Polska,' these are precisely the organizations defined in this resolution as conducting such political activity. Consequently, members of these associations should submit a declaration of resignation from these associations and refrain from any activity within these bodies - indicated Bochenek.

"The Deadline for Completing the Declaration is 7 Days from Tomorrow"

- Today, a declaration will also be sent to all PiS parliamentarians and MEPs, in which they will be required to declare that they are not members of such an organization. The deadline for completing this declaration is 7 days from tomorrow - he continued.

"Then the Procedure for Expulsion from the Party Will Be Initiated"

- In the event that someone does not renounce their activity in the associations I have mentioned - because these are, of course, the two that most interested you, which is why I mentioned them - then the procedure for expulsion from the party will be initiated through the Political Committee - stated the PiS spokesperson.
