"I am listening to the voices of journalists, whom I know and respect, who say that something is wrong here, and I am investigating it," said Waldemar Żurek on TVN24 when asked about the case of Leszek Kraskowski.

"The decision to apply pre-trial detention was made by an independent court, not a prosecutor [...] this journalist has representatives, they have the right to appeal. If this is corrected, we will withdraw, apologize, and there will probably even be compensation. At this moment, everything is lawful. I am also investigating what conditions he has in detention," he continued.
