- Among the topics that were discussed was also the issue of the association, which you journalists have written about extensively, especially in recent hours. This topic was also discussed with the leadership of our political formation in a very calm, substantive tone. In fact, all individuals who wished to speak on this matter were able to express their views, and the outcome of this broad discussion is the decision made today by the Political Committee presidium - stated Rafał Bochenek at a press briefing.

- The PiS Political Committee, at its meeting on April 16, 2026, draws the attention of PiS members to the applicability of Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point 3 of the PiS statute. This article prohibits PiS members from participating in other political organizations, especially those whose interests are contrary to the functioning of our political formation, the activities of PiS. Within the framework of this decision, the PiS Political Committee recommends the creation of an Expert Council within the party, where all those who wish to engage in programmatic preparations and any other initiatives can act, particularly those being implemented in connection with the perspective of next year's parliamentary elections - read the PiS spokesperson.

- This is a formula that is a certain offer for all PiS members within the PiS structures. The association that was formed in recent hours is not a party formula, it is an extra-party one, contrary to the statute - emphasized Bochenek.
