- The conditionality principle [in the SAFE program] is the same as in all other European spending programs: you must not steal. And I hope this is not the reason why today's opposition is skeptical – stated Radosław Sikorski on Polsat News's “Gość Wydarzeń” program.

- Every euro of European money is conditioned on the integrity of its spending. […] To the best of my knowledge, this conditionality [that the EC will assess Polish rule of law] is not present in this program – he pointed out.
