Anyone Who Wants a Strong and Sovereign Army Should Not Support the SAFE Fund
- Loans from SAFE are not additional defense funds. They are intended to replace part of the existing funds. Entering this program in its current form means long-term financial dependence on a catalog of products specified by the European Commission. This effectively prevents the proper development of the Polish Armed Forces. The main objections? - wrote Jarosław Kaczyński on social media.
- The conditionality principle, which is de facto political blackmail, giving the EU the right to suspend payments at any time,
- Lack of statutory guarantees that the money will go to the Polish defense industry
- Law and Justice has always wanted a strong army and cared about the development of the Polish Armed Forces, even when the current government was liquidating military units on a massive scale. Anyone who wants a strong and sovereign army should not support the SAFE fund - emphasized the PiS leader.
