Błaszczak on Those Disrupting the Smolensk Commemorations:

People Who Are Directly Called Barbarians in Our Culture.

Mateusz Nowak

- We remember that they fell over Smolensk because Russia is once again ruled by people who are trying to rebuild the Russian empire - said Mariusz Błaszczak in a statement after the Smolensk commemorations.

- This was the case when the Russian empire was red; then in Katyn, the Russians committed an act of genocide, murdering Polish officers, Polish officials, the elite of the Polish nation. The Russian empire, whether it was white, red, or is now Putin's, has always posed a deadly threat to Poland - he continued.

- Unfortunately, our commemorations, as every month, are disrupted by people who, in our Christian, European culture, are directly called barbarians. These are people who align themselves with the propaganda of imperial Russia, with Putin's propaganda. Unfortunately, this is happening because the current authorities, the current government, allow them to do so - he went on to say.

- The Minister of Justice receives these people. Did he admonish them, did he tell them that such behavior is inappropriate? Quite the opposite, he emboldened them - he added.
