"Polish politicians, especially... individuals who hold such important positions in the state, and in this case, I'm thinking of Marshal Czarzasty, should not speak in a way that generates situations unfavorable for Poland," Michał Dworczyk said on Polsat News's "Graffiti."

"Because please pay attention to what is happening after Mr. Czarzasty's statement. On the one hand, we have a storm in our media and some internal tensions, but on the other hand, we have critical comments in the American media and very positive comments in the Russian media. So, the question is, who does this situation serve?" he asked.

"Every responsible politician should think about the consequences of their statements. And this is not about some servility or lack of servility of Polish politicians towards this or that ambassador, this or that foreign partner. It is about responsibility for one's words," he pointed out.

"One must remember that individuals who... hold important state functions are not just private individuals and do not only express their private views – because anyone can have any views they want, we live in a democratic country – but when speaking, they must also think about the political and diplomatic consequences for the country they represent," he continued.
