- I think it's a good idea. I believe it's rational, meaning it's an idea that the current ruling coalition implemented in 2019, and the facts are merciless: they regained the Senate then - Janusz Cieszyński said on TV Republika, when asked about a right-wing Senate pact under presidential patronage.

- A Senate pact doesn't mean we all go together, like Donald Tusk with his current coalition partners; they actually ran together in that election campaign. [...] They presented themselves jointly during the campaign. That's absolutely not how a Senate pact should look - he continued, when pressed on how to solve the issue regarding cooperation with Grzegorz Braun.

- A Senate pact should look like this: where there is a candidate from one of the right-wing formations, there should be no other candidates - he added.
