Bosak on the EU-Mercosur Agreement:
Don't Let Them Pull the Wool Over Our Eyes. Tusk Bears Full Responsibility.
"The EU Council has just accepted an agreement with Mercosur that is deadly for Polish agriculture. The Polish government voted against it, and unfortunately, that's the only good thing that can be said about Prime Minister Tusk's stance on this matter." - Krzysztof Bosak wrote on X.
"For months, we witnessed repeated displays of government hypocrisy - on one hand, loud declarations against the agreement in Polish media, and on the other, complete passivity on the international stage and zero ability to influence the position of even those parties belonging to the same EPP group in the European Parliament as KO and PSL." - he continued.
"Don't let them pull the wool over our eyes. Donald Tusk bears full responsibility for the agreement with Mercosur coming into effect and for all the damage that will be caused to Polish farmers and Polish consumers as a result." - he emphasized.
The Confederation politician also published photos from the farmers' protest.
