- The President wants a strong Poland in a strong European Union of nations, not a single state that will merge and we will pretend that there are no nations, no languages, no customs, no traditions. A European Union that is also strong economically. 25 years ago, the European Union had a larger economy than the USA. After the enlargement, including Poland, a very large country, today the European Union's economy is smaller than the United States' economy - said Zbigniew Bogucki in “Three Questions at the End of the Day” on Radio Zet.
