- As the President of the Republic of Poland, I cannot forget that Polish seniors were offered indexations of 3, 12, and 20-odd zlotys. As President of Poland, I can never agree to that, because that is not why you, the state, elected me president – for me not to be the voice of our seniors, our female pensioners and our male pensioners - stated President Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.

- I also remember that in October 2023, among the 100 concrete proposals that brought the current government to power, was a guaranteed double pension indexation. Today, this indexation still appears on the list of 100 concrete proposals but has not been implemented. I appeal to Prime Minister Tusk and the entire government: I, as President of Poland, would gladly sign such an indexation, but it has not passed, even though such a promise was made - continued the President of the Republic of Poland.
