- I sympathize with the situation Minister Domański is in. I would tell the Prime Minister that he must be aware that in a situation of war threat, Poland must be able to suddenly and significantly increase the deficit, I don't know, by 3 percentage points of GDP - Ryszard Petru said on TOK FM, when asked what he, as the leader of Poland 2050, would tell Prime Minister Donald Tusk regarding public finances.

- I fear that [today] there might not be [this room] - he continued.

- I would feel better if I had the deficit at the level of 3% GDP or 4 and knew I could increase it to 6-7, and then I would feel very comfortable - he went on to say.
