Ziobro Detained at Airport, Warns Police Officer of Accountability

Zbigniew Ziobro was detained by the police after disembarking from a plane that landed at Chopin Airport.

When a police officer attempted to serve Ziobro with an order for his apprehension and a court decision, the politician stated: "I wish to inform you that the Constitutional Tribunal has issued a ruling in this matter, declaring my detention illegal. [...] Consequently, you must also consider, unfortunately, accountability."

"Mr. Member of Parliament, I am executing a court order," the police officer replied.

Ziobro was then escorted to a car.

The moment of detention was captured by TV Republika cameras, which accompanied Ziobro throughout his flight from Brussels.
