Szynkowski vel Sęk: President's Promise to Lower Electricity Prices Still Holds

According to my knowledge, a specific draft bill has been prepared that will allow this to happen – stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk on “Pytanie dnia” on TVP INFO, when asked about President Nawrocki's election promise to lower electricity prices by one-third.

That law was primarily intended to broadly introduce onshore wind turbines and the possibilities for building them. It met with significant social resistance, which is why the President vetoed it. At the same time, the President proposed a draft bill concerning the freezing of electricity price increases, and we are awaiting work on this presidential bill in parliament – he continued.

Of course, just like all of President Nawrocki's promises [mistakenly referring to Andrzej Duda], still from the campaign period – he countered when asked if the promise to lower electricity prices was still valid.
