"A Very Important Moment": Dworczyk on the Funeral of UPA Massacre Victims in Puźniki

Neither a breakthrough nor a first step. It was a very important moment. And why? Because exhumations, let's remember, have actually been ongoing since the 1990s. After all, it was then that localities such as Ostrówki or Wola Ostrowiecka, and later Gaj, were exhumed; they were first sites of search, then exhumation. But truly, if we look at the last three decades, it has been a sinusoid. At times it was possible to search and exhume, then there was a period when these activities could not be conducted – stated Michał Dworczyk in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24, when asked about the funeral of the victims of the UPA massacre in Puźniki.

The Deputy Speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, the Minister of Culture, the Deputy Minister of Culture, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
