Sikorski on German Reparations: 'Unfortunately, It's a Hopeless Case'

Michał Olech

Here, we simply have a difference of opinion. The government believes that, unfortunately, the reparations granted to Poland at Potsdam were 'swiped' by Soviet Russia. And the President believes he will secure these reparations. Well, we wish him luck, but we believe, unfortunately, that it's a hopeless case – stated Radosław Sikorski on 'Question of the Day' on TVP INFO.

Well, he's taken that responsibility upon himself. His predecessor didn't succeed for 10 years, and the Law and Justice (PiS) government didn't even *request* reparations for 8 years. So, he's taken on a great deal of responsibility. I congratulate him on his courage – he continued.
