– We are a dependent economy. In dividends, interest on capital, on loans, and on various financial instruments, 120 billion PLN net flows out of Poland annually, while in the best years, 40 to 50 billion PLN net flows to us from the EU. This means we, poor Central Europe, we Poles, are a capital donor for the rich West. That's how the clever, the shrewder ones, have arranged this world for themselves – stated Mateusz Morawiecki during a debate with Adrian Zandberg.
