– I absolutely do not see this [students opting out of health education] as a failure, because we have prepared a good and necessary subject. Given the political storm surrounding it, we protected schools as much as possible, and now we have given ourselves a year to see how this subject functions. It's also clear that young people, when they hear all this monstrous, aberrant nonsense from parts of the Episcopate or PiS politicians who haven't read it but are eager to comment, are perplexed. However, they will soon experience this subject with their teachers – stated Barbara Nowacka during "Poranna rozmowa w RMF" (Morning Talk on RMF), when asked about the new school subject – health education.

– We are at a point where many rationally thinking people are starting to read these curricula, because they hear from the pulpit about depravity, they hear from PiS politicians that there are unacceptable and demoralizing things in it, and they start reading with interest and see that it's not true. And we have two effects. Firstly, it turns out that PiS are liars, it turns out that the Episcopate has not read the core curricula, and it is they who will ultimately bear the negative consequences of their hopeless campaign. My only concern is that the health and safety of young people will suffer – she continued.
