– I already know there are some irregularities – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in "Piasecki's Interview" on TVN24, when asked about the audits of KPO grants for the HoReCa sector.

– I won't say it now [how many irregularities there were] because I don't have complete information, and I am responsible, because behind every agreement stands a person and a business, who deserve a fair approach – she noted.

As she indicated: – Two types of irregularities. One is a conflict of interest, meaning that within the operators […] experts evaluated projects in which they should not have been involved, as they had ties to the businesses that received the funds.

– The second is that someone received money… Contrary to appearances, it's not simply that someone gets a coffee machine and that's it. No, they must write a business plan, they must show how it will integrate into their enterprise, how it will generate taxes, contribute to industry development, and thereby contribute to Poland's development. If it doesn't follow that business plan, if it's not part of the enterprise's activities, and if it doesn't generate taxes, then that is an irregularity – she continued.

– Both types of situations, isolated cases, have been caught – she added.
