– "Yes, but the fundamental problem is that the tax – or rather, the tax proposal – prepared by Deputy Prime Minister Gawkowski, is a legal dud. We need to state that clearly," Andrzej Śliwka declared in "Rozmowa Polskiego Radia 24" (Polish Radio 24 Talk), when asked about the digital tax.

– "I can express my assessment. The project prepared by the Ministry of Digital Affairs is a dud, it's ill-prepared, and it discourages American businesses from investing in Poland. And this is a counterproductive action," he continued.

– "Of course, we can discuss with our American partners the issue of taxing these major Big Tech companies. It's worth discussing, but it must be taken into account that if we are to engage in talks with our American partners, we need to be prepared for those talks," the PiS politician noted.
