– We will protect Poles, now from the president. Unfortunately, President Nawrocki's liberum veto policy harms Poles, harms households, entrepreneurs, everyone who today wants cheaper energy and stable supplies. The President's recent decisions, consequently also blocking support for Poles, show that today the President prefers to play political ping-pong instead of addressing the problems that were created and inherited by his political camp, and by those who advise the President today – stated Miłosz Motyka at a press conference.

– Therefore, in accordance with our declarations, our consistent actions, and taking care of the state budget, and most importantly, protecting the interests of Polish men and women, we have decided to extend support for individual consumers, for households, for the last quarter in terms of the maximum price. This price will not increase; it is 500 PLN per MWh for the last quarter. But more broadly, we also support, as part of a heating voucher, those consumers who today could be exposed to potential increases in heating prices – he continued.

– We propose a broad change, a comprehensive amendment: freezing energy prices for the last quarter, and a heating voucher paid out in 2026 in two installments, based on a specific income threshold, consistent with the income threshold for housing benefits. The voucher will be paid out depending on heat consumption – he noted.
