– In my opinion, it was a spectacle. It was calculated to show how active the president is, how he will seize the reins of Polish politics and immediately want to steer this ship – stated Waldemar Żurek on “Pytanie dnia” (Question of the Day) on TVP INFO, when asked about the Cabinet Council meeting.

– In my opinion, he will not steer, but it also became clear from all these statements that the president, however, has incorrect information; that is, his associates at all costs want to prove they possess secret knowledge, knowledge different from what the ministers in the government have, and this was very effectively debunked by those ministers who spoke – Waldemar Żurek continued.

– What stuck in my mind, which I can share with you, is that so many billions are missing from the budget, to which the Minister of Finance says: “Hold on, we lowered inflation. During the PiS government, it was at 18%, then it dropped to 8%, and we lowered it to 3%. This money remained in Poles' wallets, but for every percentage point of lowered inflation, as specialists calculated, 12 billion less flows into the budget, so these funds need to be found” – said the Minister of Justice.
