– I will apply these methods gradually, because I must also be aware that for certain difficult decisions, I will need the consent of all coalition partners. And we already have a team that is working, meeting, discussing what we plan regarding the rule of law, what steps will be taken – stated Waldemar Żurek on "Pytanie dnia" on TVP INFO, when asked about steps concerning the KRS.

– As I said, if such a decision is made, I have the legal justification, and I now also have a meeting planned with all MPs and senators from the coalition who are members of the KRS; they constitute a legal part of this council. We are already discussing this very intensely, but my time in office is short. The decisions I have been making are very quick. I am familiarizing myself with many things, and many more decisions are already planned, but these are two enormous tasks, and I still need the consensus of all coalition partners, as I said, for it to succeed. However, if someone says – I do not agree to this – then they will later bear responsibility for the lack of a decision – he continued.

– I prefer to be effective, that is to say. I have my methods, I have my plans, and they are constantly being implemented, but it really is a very short period, you must give me some time. However, I can promise citizens one thing – I will fight tooth and nail – concluded Waldemar Żurek.
