– It was a political operation, after all. PiS, Chairman Kaczyński, has been exploiting migration since 2015. Mr. Bąkiewicz and this entire movement were another installment, an attempt, as it were, to raise emotions around migration, and to some extent, it was successful, one must admit. But these individuals certainly weren't performing any duties related to ensuring border security; they only caused confusion at the beginning – stated Czesław Mroczek in 'Poranna rozmowa' on RMF FM.

– Mr. Bąkiewicz faced charges […]. All of Poland saw the videos they recorded, showing him insulting officers of the Border Guard and military police. But quite quickly… two cases, if I recall correctly, we handed over – the Border Guard handed over to the prosecutor's office – and quite quickly, because we also clearly communicated that there would be no tolerance for committing crimes, impersonating an officer, and especially insulting or obstructing their work – he continued.

– Mr. Bąkiewicz, Matecki, and many others tried to amplify this issue to make migration the main topic in politics again. They used—that is, they sowed hatred and disinformation, and we repeatedly exposed Mr. Matecki's blatant lies, such as, for instance, with that group of Poles whom he tried to portray as migrants – Mroczek concluded.
