– As for the bill concerning aid for fighting Ukraine – because this bill doesn't boil down to 800 plus (on this matter, I probably have an even more radical opinion than the President) – but rather it comes down to helping those who are also fighting for Polish security, meaning those fighting on the front lines and weakening Russia every day – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

– Ukrainian soldiers, who for three years have endured and halted the Russian offensive, are weakening Russia every day and giving Poland and NATO a chance to build such a potential that it will never be profitable to attack. And you either help those who halt Russia every day, or you hinder them. This presidential decision obstructs the possibility of defense, and also of ensuring Poland's security – he assessed.

He reiterated: – This is not at all about 800 plus, because we could make an even more radical decision on that. But it's about aid for fighting Ukraine, where the issue of Polish security is at stake. Yielding here to the emotions of politicians like Mr. Braun makes no sense; it's a path to nowhere.

– The perspective of a president is different from that of a presidential candidate, or at least it should be. We could always count on President Duda for understanding and support. He in no way blocked what the previous government did in supporting Ukraine, nor what our government is doing – he continued.

– A flawed decision. Again, the President's associates are misleading him, likely by providing only a snippet of this bill concerning social transfers, while forgetting about the essence of this action. We will try to rectify this – he indicated.
