Bielan:

I Don't Remember Poles Rating the Government and Prime Minister So Poorly

– These ["speeding up the reckoning with PiS"] are quite predictable moves by Donald Tusk, who lost the presidential elections. […] This "speeding up accountability" is a result of Civic Platform's (PO) failures in presidential elections and a very significant crisis within the current coalition, a polling crisis – the Prime Minister's lowest ratings in years. I don't recall Poles ever rating the government and the Prime Minister himself so poorly – said Adam Bielan on Polish Radio 1's "Sygnały dnia."

– This is only the first 1.5 years, the first half of the term, and Tusk recently carried out a cabinet reshuffle which was supposed to help boost ratings. Nothing of the sort happened – he stated.

– This is an attempt to divert Poles' attention from real problems, such as rising living costs and huge problems in the healthcare system. […] In line with the old adage, […] if there's no bread, one must organize circuses – he assessed.
