– Every time, I have a problem with the Ministry of Finance, which opposes these kinds of solutions [aimed at combating bureaucracy]. Minister Domański might not even know what's going on. It mainly concerns the KAS [National Revenue Administration], meaning the officials don't want these kinds of changes because we are taking away quite a lot of their power, which makes the taxpayer-official relationship more favorable to the taxpayer – Ryszard Petru said on “Gość Radia ZET” (Guest of Radio ZET).

– This is just an example of how the Prime Minister, in a sense, has created a kind of trap for himself. It is the Prime Minister who should unblock the bureaucracy – he assessed.

– We have two [deregulation] bills, which I have mentioned. Despite the support of the entire chamber, the Ministry of Finance is skeptical. Second point: we have a deregulation bill that was prepared by the Ministry of Economy. It is the Ministry of Finance that does not want this bill to progress further – he pointed out.

In his opinion: – The problem lies with the government. The problem is not with the ideas, the problem is that the bureaucracy is defending itself against these kinds of changes.
