- Another change that is coming is that new school years will no longer have the subject of History and the Present in high school. Starting next year, it will be the subject of Civic Education. In the coming weeks, there will be pre-consultations and consultations regarding the curriculum for this subject. It is already prepared, I have seen it, and it is a harbinger of changes, as it approaches how young people acquire knowledge in a completely different way. We are emphasizing competencies and connections between subjects. In 2025, another subject will also be introduced, Health Education, and the curricula for that are also almost ready and are based on the exact same philosophy – stated Barbara Nowacka at a press conference.
