I won't mince words. I want to state very clearly: a mistake was made. As you are aware, the Prime Minister's task involves signing hundreds of documents, sometimes dozens per day, and they are divided into more technical and more substantive documents. The official responsible for preparing documents for signature did not notice the political nature of the document concerning a presidential nomination for a neo-judge, which required my counter-signature, and a situation occurred that should not have happened – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference.
