500 Million PLN, with Approximately 100 Million Available This Year. Hołownia on Support Program for Municipalities in Eastern Voivodeships
- Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz has already announced a support program for municipalities in the eastern voivodeships. This amounts to 500 million Polish zlotys, of which approximately 100 million will be available to these 4 voivodeships this year. This project covers the Warmian-Masurian, Podlaskie, Lublin, and Subcarpathian voivodeships [...] this is a project focused on municipalities that are border regions. Funds will be available, drawn from European Funds, a program financed for the funding of tasks related to road infrastructure, various investments that local governments undertake, which create jobs, and thus also realistically build the social fabric locally, but it will also, of course, be money for tourism. It will be money for those who conduct business in this area. This is a sort of umbrella support – said Szymon Hołownia at a press briefing.
