- It was supposed to be a plus, and it's a minus again. Look, -25% for the Polish army. And yet, there is no strong state without a strong army. When Law and Justice governed, my government made a decision to significantly increase defense spending. Spending that reached a record level in the entire NATO. That's 4% of GDP. [...] And now? Cuts, layoffs, group layoffs, higher taxes, higher prices, inflation. And in return? Dismantling the state and reductions. Even reductions in the army - said Mateusz Morawiecki in a recording published on Twitter. - What kind of Poland will they leave behind? This is the question the Civic Coalition should ask itself, which is cutting defense spending at such a difficult time? Poles have the right to know about our security. This is not a time for doubts, it is a time to strengthen our defense - he continued.
