Duda:
It seems that today the same group that eagerly accepted judges from the PRL era into the ranks of the Third Republic judges now wants to differentiate judges.
- The act must have its final form and must arrive on the president's desk for me to review it. However, it is an obvious matter, and I have said this on numerous occasions, that all judicial nominations I have granted were decisions meticulously considered in every detail concerning the candidate for judge. If these nominations were made, and if a judge has taken the judicial oath before the President of the Republic of Poland, they are a judge just like any other judge - said President Andrzej Duda at a press conference in Doha, when asked if he would sign the KRS (National Council of the Judiciary) act after the Senate's amendment.
- I can only shake my head with pity, because it seems that today the same group that eagerly accepted judges from the PRL era into the ranks of the Third Republic judges now wants to differentiate judges. Back then, they saw no problem with them being people who very often belonged to the communist party, and therefore carried out party directives - he continued.
