- As the Left, we support the idea of establishing a special commission within government structures (...) We believe that a good commission investigating Russian and Belarusian influences in Poland will not be bad. We need such a commission that will thoroughly, but also quickly, clarify these types of influences. We want professionals to be on it, people who enjoy cross-party and cross-political trust (...) As the Left, we will not allow ourselves to be fitted into a model where the state becomes a hostage of one political party or another. We went through that for the last eight years, and as the Left, we do not want to return to it. We will seek compromise regarding the composition of this commission, and we will cooperate with the Prime Minister on its establishment. We will not trip it up like others have tried to do, saying they are against it. We want a good commission that clarifies these kinds of cases – stated Robert Biedroń at a press conference in Bydgoszcz.
