- We are often asked how we will implement these changes [to the KRS]. We will, of course, implement these changes in accordance with the law, because that is why we ran in these elections – to restore the rule of law, not to deepen legal chaos. The Left will certainly not allow two thousand already appointed neo-judges to suddenly disappear from the system one day. However, a verification of the method and procedure of their selection by the neo-KRS and subsequent appointment by the President must be carried out – said Anna Maria Żukowska at a press conference. - We will restore this rule of law through legislation, because at the moment we have one law on the procedure for electing members of the KRS, and it is a PiS-era law. We want to select this body in a legal manner, which is why we will amend this KRS law. Whether there will also be a resolution stating the factual situation, consisting of the fact that [...] individuals sitting in this building, in the body called the neo-KRS, were elected in the judicial part in a manner inconsistent with the Polish Constitution – this is simply a factual situation, and the Sejm can make a decision to solemnly confirm it – she continued.
