Hennig-Kloska:
Until We Have a Depoliticized Prosecutor's Office, We Must Appoint an Investigative Committee
- I believe that until we have a depoliticized prosecutor's office – and we don't have one, because the number of complaints and appeals regarding pressure within the prosecutor's office that I've been receiving recently is terrifying – we must appoint an investigative committee, one should be established in the Sejm – stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on RMF FM.
- We certainly need to address the accounting for the Lotos and Orlen merger, we know well, essentially the parcelling out of Lotos and the sale of part of its assets. We should definitely, very recently, look into the financing of the United Right's election campaign, the involvement of the state apparatus on an unprecedented scale, and I would certainly point to the accounting from the COVID era in the Ministry of Health, which outraged public opinion and for which the government has never accounted – she continued.
- Whether it will be one committee, a "Law and Justice" committee, or separate committees, time will tell. Certainly, one of the first should be formed soon – she added.
